French design – made personal

At Le Comptoir, French design extends beyond the showroom.

With MHI Martina Hausel Interiors, led by Le Comptoir co-founder Martina Hausel, it finds a very personal expression in your own home.

Pieces discovered at Le Comptoir can become part of your interior – alongside art, bespoke elements, design classics and other carefully selected pieces that make a home distinctly personal.

Effortless chic

Martina’s approach is subtly influenced by her love of France and – of course – its Art de Vivre: a certain lightness and relaxed elegance, and the freedom to mix and match.

Rather than creating perfectly orchestrated, museum-like interiors, she combines different eras and styles, contemporary furniture and personal favourites, art and bespoke pieces. The result is considered but never staged, and above all, designed for living in.

Full-service interior design

MHI accompanies private clients from the first idea to the final completion. Interior concepts, space planning, colour and material schemes, furniture and accessory selection, bespoke solutions and the coordination of partners and trades are all part of the process.

And yes, sometimes one exceptional piece is all it takes to get things started.
