2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Comtrance GmbH (www.comtrance.net). The hosting provider processes technical connection data in the course of operating this website, including IP address, date and time of access, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and pages visited. This data is stored in server log files and is technically necessary for the provision and security of the website. Log files are generally retained for a maximum of 10 days and then deleted, unless security-relevant events require longer retention.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Comtrance. Servers are located in Germany.

3. SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.

4. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your e-mail address in order to send you invitations, news and selected updates from Le Comptoir.

Sign-up process
We use a double opt-in procedure: after signing up, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Your address will only be added to our mailing list after you have confirmed via the link provided.

Service provider
Newsletter delivery is handled by The Rocket Science Group LLC (Mailchimp), 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. Mailchimp is a certified participant in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and processes data under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. A data processing agreement has been concluded with Mailchimp. Newsletter tracking
As part of newsletter delivery, Mailchimp may statistically evaluate open rates and clicks on links contained in the newsletter. This evaluation is used solely for the analysis and optimisation of our newsletter communications.

Withdrawal
You may withdraw your consent at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter – either via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter e-mail or by e-mail to contact@lecomptoir.de. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.

If you contact us by e-mail, we process your message and the personal data it contains (e.g. name, e-mail address) solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up communication arising from it. The fonts used on this website (Noto Sans, Baskervville) as well as all images and videos are stored on our own web server (self-hosted). No connection to third-party servers such as Google Fonts is established when these files are loaded, and no personal data is transferred to third parties for this purpose. The only data processed is the technical connection data described under "Hosting".

8. Analytics, Tracking and Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary functions. It does not set cookies, does not store information on your device, and does not use analytics, marketing or tracking tools. A cookie consent banner is therefore not required. Data is only transmitted to a third party if you actively submit the newsletter form (see "newsletter").
